Imprint Group brought Summit into Zoomtopia to elevate the video production for its client, Zoom. Both that show and the later AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders broadcast were produced at Goal Line Studios in Pleasanton, California. Originally built as John Madden’s production home, Goal Line gave the team a setting built for ambitious live work.
Zoomtopia came first. After that production, Imprint trusted us to return for a second Zoom event with a different brief and a production timeline of just three weeks.

01 / Zoomtopia
Bringing Zoomtopia to the screen
Zoomtopia brought executive programming, special guests, and a musical performance by Jon Batiste into one live show. Our role was to give those moments a broadcast treatment that matched the scale of the event.
We brought Sony FX9 cameras with Angénieux EZ zoom lenses, a jib operated by Daniel Milchev, and a MoVI operated by George Stearns. The package gave director Bryan Olinger composed coverage and moving shots to work with throughout the program. The goal was more television than a standard livestream.
Filming Jon Batiste’s performance
A musical performance asks something different of a live camera team. The direction has to follow the performer and the music while still showing the space and the event around them.
Bryan was particularly well suited to that moment. He spent a decade working with iHeartRadio and has directed concerts for major recording artists. For Zoomtopia, that experience helped shape how we filmed Jon Batiste’s performance as part of the show, rather than treating it as another item on the run of show.
02 / Zoom Ahead
Returning to Goal Line in three weeks
Imprint brought us back to Goal Line Studios for Zoom Ahead: AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders. The show was put together in three weeks and filmed on Goal Line’s LED volume.
We returned with the FX9 and Angénieux camera approach, along with Daniel on the jib, George on MoVI coverage, and Bryan’s live direction. It was a new program, not a repeat of Zoomtopia, but Imprint could rely on a production team and visual standard it already knew.
The live moment
Coordinating with the White House
The second broadcast included a virtual address by First Lady Melania Trump. Summit coordinated with the White House to bring her appearance into the live program.
That coordination deserves its own part of this story. It was a consequential moment for Zoom’s event, and our responsibility was to make the remote address feel integrated into the broadcast being produced at Goal Line.
Why Imprint brought us back
Imprint led the client relationship and trusted Summit to raise the standard of video production for an important Zoom engagement. Zoomtopia included a major musical performance. AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders called for a new broadcast assembled in three weeks, filmed on an LED volume, with a remote White House address.
After Zoomtopia, Imprint brought us back for the next show. That return engagement speaks to the working relationship built across the two broadcasts.
