Xerocon Denver Case Study

Xerocon Denver Sizzle

Xerocon Denver 2026 Denver, CO

Xerocon needed event video assets that could do more than recap the room. The content had to support future promotion, attendee interest, and platform specific distribution after the event. The same story needed to work in different placements: a wide event page, social feeds, vertical mobile channels, and paid or organic promotion.

Summit shaped the delivery around two anchor assets: a Denver sizzle video for energy and environment, plus a Why Attend piece built around attendee value. Each asset was prepared in multiple aspect ratios so the Xerocon team could use the same event story across web, LinkedIn, mobile social, and feed placements without forcing one crop to do every job. The approach turned a single conference video assignment into a practical campaign library.

01 / The Sizzle

Energy and environment

The Denver sizzle video was built to carry the feeling of the room. Fast cuts, venue environment, attendee energy, and the texture of the event all shaped into one piece that could open a conference page or front a registration campaign.

A sizzle reel is not a documentary. It has to move, and it has to make someone who was not there understand what the event felt like. Summit cut the Xerocon sizzle to do exactly that, then prepared it in the formats the marketing team would actually need. The recap video became the anchor asset for the event page and post-event promotion.

Xerocon Why Attend

02 / Why Attend

Built around attendee value

The Why Attend video answered a different question. Where the sizzle sold the energy, this piece made the case for showing up. It was structured around what attendees get from the conference: the sessions, the connections, the content, and the reasons to register for the next one.

That meant the editing choices were different too. Longer soundbites, clearer value statements, and a pace that let the message land. The Why Attend asset was designed for the conference page and for social channels where a prospective attendee might first encounter the event.

03 / Every Channel

One event story, shaped for every placement

Both anchor assets were prepared in four aspect ratios: 16:9 for web and recap, 9:16 for reels and stories, 1:1 for LinkedIn and feed, and 4:5 for mobile feed. The same conference story could move from a wide event page to a vertical phone screen without losing its shape.

That is the difference between delivering a video and delivering a campaign. One crop forced into every placement always compromises something. Four versions built for the placements they will actually live in give the marketing team a conference video library that works the first time, on every channel.

What Xerocon walked away with

Xerocon received a practical set of campaign assets instead of a single recap file. Two polished anchor videos, each prepared in four format versions, ready for web, social, mobile feed, and registration promotion.

The sizzle carries the energy. The Why Attend carries the value. The format versions carry the story to every placement where the audience actually watches. That is what it looks like when event video is built for distribution, not just for the room.
